Autumnal sensory art

The children created a fantastic sensory art piece, using paint, a bag and card for our recent open day. Each child created a leaf design and using orange, brown, red or yellow (some chose to mix the colours), to depict autumn beautifully. 

They can move the paint around, which adds to the sensory effect.

Disgusting sandwiches!

 The children had the chance to make a disgusting sandwich, inspired by the story 'The Lighthouse Keeper's lunch'. The children used a range of ingredients including pickles, mustard and blue cheese to create their sandwiches. They carefully used sharp knives to cut their ingredients, and chose what order they wanted their ingredients to be in. The children had the option to taste their finished sandwich at the end- some were pleasantly surprised, some not!
