Christingle making!

In RE this term, we have been learning all about Christianity and what is celebrated during Christmas, and how this is celebrated too.

The children made Christingles to show their understanding of the key Christian values at Christmas time.

Disgusting sandwiches!

 The children had the chance to make a disgusting sandwich, inspired by the story 'The Lighthouse Keeper's lunch'. The children used a range of ingredients including pickles, mustard and blue cheese to create their sandwiches. They carefully used sharp knives to cut their ingredients, and chose what order they wanted their ingredients to be in. The children had the option to taste their finished sandwich at the end- some were pleasantly surprised, some not!
