Making 2D shapes!

The children have made 2D shapes using lollypop sticks and blue tack. This shows their understanding of vertices, edges and faces.

Disgusting sandwiches!

 The children had the chance to make a disgusting sandwich, inspired by the story 'The Lighthouse Keeper's lunch'. The children used a range of ingredients including pickles, mustard and blue cheese to create their sandwiches. They carefully used sharp knives to cut their ingredients, and chose what order they wanted their ingredients to be in. The children had the option to taste their finished sandwich at the end- some were pleasantly surprised, some not!
