Science invesitgators!

In science this term, we are learning about materials and their properties. 

The children conducted an experiment with a range of materials to see if they can squash it, twist it, bend it and stretch it. The children were able to identify that a lot of materials they tested were able to bend and twist, but not all materials can stretch. 

After this experiment, the children were shown a material that is liquid but also solid- oobleck. They really enjoyed feeling this! We had a class discussion all about how it feels, moves and stays solid at the same time.
