Sewing practice!

This term in DT, the children are going to be making their puppets. So far, they have explored different types of puppets, seeing which ones children may use more. From this, they have designed their own puppet, using different ideas and patterns. Some have designed animal puppets, whereas some children have designed people puppets.

Today, the children have been practicing sewing skills! They have used thread, a needle and some sewing material. The children have been using the running stitch, back stitch and the blanket stitch. 

Each child worked really hard and was successful!
