Well done to shooting stars class who have completed their puppets. They have designed/ planned, created, sewn and evaluated their own puppets. The children are so creative!
Yesterday, the children had the chance to see some incredible animals when white post farm visited our school. There were a range of animals such as snakes, rabbits and mice. Here are some photos!
The children had the chance to make a disgusting sandwich, inspired by the story 'The Lighthouse Keeper's lunch'. The children used a range of ingredients including pickles, mustard and blue cheese to create their sandwiches. They carefully used sharp knives to cut their ingredients, and chose what order they wanted their ingredients to be in. The children had the option to taste their finished sandwich at the end- some were pleasantly surprised, some not!
In maths, the children have been challenging themselves to compare different numbers- using the greater than, less than and equal to signs. They showed a great understanding of this!
